We went late in the day this year to get our Tree. With 3 teens underfoot- early morning or morning is not part of the daily vocabulary. So you can see the sun was fast fading from the sky, It was a very cold day and very icy at the Tree farm. One of the tractors that takes you to the field had to stop running even with chains it could not make it up the Hill. This tree a Fraser Fir you can see had real icicles hanging on it. The wind was stinging our faces and making them bright and cheery. After looking at all the options both bargain and regular, we settled on this lovely tree to be home for our Ornaments this year. We are always looking for sturdy branches to support the ornaments and a nice overall shape. This one is a winner on all accounts! Are you a real tree or a fake tree? what traditions go into your tree selection or set up?
